Impact (Catholic Reforms):

  • Students will re-examine the causes of the Reformation They will also read “Constitution of the Society of Jesus” (p 178, Sherman)
  • Students will re-examine “The Way of Perfection” (p 178, Sherman vol 1)
  • Using these resources, students will explain how actions taken by the Catholic Church addressed or did not address the initial causes of the Reformation

    • Special Ed Students:
      • Teacher will read-aloud to students when necessary.
      • Teachers will break down assignments into smaller tasks.
      • Teachers will work with students on vocabulary acquisition by breaking down words into prefixes/suffixes and etymology.
