The First (1st) Round of Multiple Choice Questions for the AP Psychology Exam will be given for each unit. Students will self reflect and work in a group to find the incorrect answers within the Unit Study Guide.

Quiz Day Procedures:

  1. Students will have previously studied the AP Psychology Unit for the Quiz the day/night before.
  2. Students will take quiz
    • Each Question will be read aloud by teacher to insure practice for pacing for reading question
    • Students will have 1 minute per question, including the reading of the question.
    • Students will mark their choices on their ZipGrade response bubble sheet.
  3. Students will be given Unit Study Guide for the next Quiz
  4. Quizzes will be scanned and scored.
  5. Students will be given results of quiz.
  6. Students will review any missed questions by looking up response answers and highlight (underline) correct reponses for each question missed in their Unit Study Guide.
  7. Best Re-Study Practices:
  a. Students could create index cards for incorrect question responses
  b. Students could create a Quizlet study set for the unit for the incorrect responses
  c. Students could quiz each other for their missed responses

FRQ Day Procedures:

  1. Students will have previously studied the AP Psychology Unit for the FRQ the day/night before.
  2. Students will come prepared for the type of question for the FRQ
  3. Students will have 25-30 Minutes to complete the FRQ
  4. Students will exchange papers with a peer
  5. Students will be given a scoring rubric

Option A: Peer Review

  • Each question response (point) will be displayed in a different area of the classroom.
  • Students will use a gallery walk and rate each paper based upon the rubric response displayed.
  • Each panel will be displayed for three (3) minutes, and need to be scored.
  • Students will score their peers paper (please only score according to the rubric, intent of response must be clear)

Option B: Peer Review

  • Students will score their peers paper (please only score according to the rubric, intent of response must be clear, no questions can be asked from the peer.

After FRQ Responses are scored:

  • Students will then receive their FRQ
  • Students will discuss their results with their peer

Worksheet/Packet Day Procedures:

  1. Students will have previously studied the AP Psychology Must Know for the topic(s).
  2. Students will work in groups/pairs to complete the Worksheet/Packet.
  3. Students will quiz each other on each completed page.
  4. Students will be graded on completion of the completed worksheet/packet.

Multiple Choice Day Procedures:

  1. Students will have previously studied the AP Psychology Must Know for the topic(s).
  2. Students will work individually on Multiple Choice questions starting with Quiz 1A
  3. Students will complete each quiz and record their score on their Quiz Worksheet.
  4. Students should go on to the next Quiz once they have received a 60% or higher.
  5. When Students have completed all Quizzes, they should go back an reattempt any quiz lower than a 60% to achieve a higher score.
